Step Aerobics

This class will take you from your first experience in a step class to the next level. And just to make it more interesting, we’ll introduce you to double step and some advanced moves. This class will meet for 45 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Try everything from dance, aerobics, step, circuit and more. Great class for cross training.

Zumba
|

Zumba is the fusion of Latin and International music for fitness through body sculpting and dance steps. You do not need dance experience for the class.

Dance Aerobics

Dancing is a great cardio workout. Come dance at the YMCA to a variety of different music including Hip Hop, Country, Pop and more. For the Young and Young at Heart.

Muscle Mania (formerly Power Pump)
|
|
This is a class designed to feel like you’re working out in the weight room. Great for men and women. The benefits of strength training include increase muscular strength, increase in tendon, bone and ligament strength. Increase muscle size and tone. Strength training also is a great BOOST for your metabolism. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn even at rest. Class typically burns 300-500 calories in class.

Mega Mix Circuit

Mega Mix circuit is a unique and challenging course includ-
ing moves that will slim, strengthen, tone, firm and add lean
muscle mass. By utilizing “muscle confusion” each week varies,
challenging the body’s muscles into new growth. Variety in your
workout means a better, stronger, healthier you.
Fitness is a lifetime challenge, by mixing up your work-
outs, you will give yourself an increased amount of strength,
balance and cardiovascular endurance to keep your body fit.
